Recapita
We designed and built their first web product from the ground up using Next.js (front end) and Node.js (backend), authored and structured all content, and delivered an AI-driven dashboard and workflow that automates core compliance tasks.

Analysis – Design and Brand Consistency
We created a visual and interaction system that foregrounds clarity, task flow, and trust: large readable modules for core workflows, clear microcopy for action steps, and an interface rhythm that prioritises outcomes (validate → generate → transfer → track). The product pages and entry points are structured to make complex compliance flows feel approachable and manageable.
Key product pillars presented on the site (RoSCTL / RoDTEP suite, AIR-based drawback suite, and an AI Agentic Dashboard) shaped our information hierarchy — each module needed a dedicated entry, explanation, and short path to demo or onboarding.
Problem – Content and User Engagement
Recapita came to us with no existing website or online product presence. Their domain knowledge and workflows existed offline, they needed a digital product that could both demonstrate capability and operate as a working tool for clients.
The challenge was twofold: translate domain-specific compliance processes into clear, user-facing flows, and design a product interface that could house automation (document validation, e-scrip generation, tracking) while remaining intuitive for exporters and customs agents.
Solution – Strategy and Impact
Strategy: Build a product first, not a brochure. We focused on task fluency: users must be able to upload paperwork, validate shipping bills, and track e-scrip/EGM status quickly and confidently. The architecture was scoped to support realtime automation, user sessions, and integrations.
Execution:
Front-end: Implemented in Next.js to deliver server-rendered pages, fast initial loads, and robust SEO for product pages.
Back-end: Built in Node.js with focused APIs to support document processing, real-time status updates, and user management.
Product & Content: We authored all content (product explanations, flows, microcopy) and designed the dashboard and upload workflows to minimise friction for first time and expert users alike.
AI & Automation: Integrated the product narrative and UI to surface AI-assisted automation (agentic workflows for validation and paperwork generation) so users can offload repetitive tasks and see status updates in real time.
Outcomes & Impact:
Launched Recapita’s first digital platform and a working compliance dashboard capable of automated paperwork and status tracking.
Positioned product pages and demo flows so prospects can quickly understand suite offerings (RoSCTL/RoDTEP/AIR) and request demos.
The product proposition now communicates time efficiency and operational ROI — the site highlights a claim of substantially reduced processing time through automation (site reference).
